Not really a 'bug' person but the forum seems to be alive with them of late so out came the Macro and a I went a huntin'

Don't know what is wrong this year but the greenfly are late so there are very few ladybirds and that means the greenfly have gone wild, taking over my honeysuckle.......I feel the soapy water coming out.

how did you get so many in focus. amazing picture. has to be viewed large, so much detail in them critters.

 

yep, I think due to the lack of ladybirds this year we are gonna be pestered to hell by these things....

great pic, I can only get a few in focus that's why I'v not posted any.

 

we have a family of sparrows who spend a LOT of time eating these off our roses :)   would soapy water not harm what eats the greenfly?
