Dandy Dandelion

Hi, this isn't a photo taken with my new camera, but one that was taken about 6 years ago using my old Fuji S9500.  I just started experimenting with my camera at that time and wasn't very educated or observant regarding 'obvious errors' lol. The screen resolution on my monitor was and still is dreadful, so I couldn't see the specks on the black background, anyway.........

So please allow for any errors and feel free to comment as you wish.  I really stretched that camera to it's limits, so I shouldn't really complain about it, ha ha.

I think the style of frame was the 'in' thing then, not sure if these styles are now though.

Thanks for looking.

Remember, technically there is no such thing as a weed, they are merely plants growing where you don't want them. I love my dandelions! :)

You're right about the background but as the shot is 6 years old you're forgiven and the flower itself more than makes up for it :yes

Oh thanks so much for your feedback. It's nice to look back over old creations as I e forgotten a lot of what I learnt and taught myself.

If I'm honest I'm quite nervous about using my new D3200, that I'm glad in a way that I have t had time to use it....how awful does that sound?

All the settings on the screen and knowing which shutter and aperture setting to use is really confusing.

Hope to start taking pics at some point though....

Thanks again :)

i felt like that when i got my canon beth.....they are quite scary things. i started using mine around the garden first..now i take it most places. get stuck in beth.

nice picture.....i like dandelions, the green across the road is a carpet of them at the moment, no doubt the local council will be round on their mowing machine soon to chop them down..i wish they would leave it run to a wild flower meadow.
