iPhone long exposures

I use SlowShutterCam: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/slow-shutter-cam/id357404131?mt=8

You can run it between 1 second and 60 seconds in normal mode or switch to B and keep it running as long as you like. There is also a Light Trail mode for night shooting, again with pretty much unlimited exposure times. Advanced controls include the resolution of the video (thats what it is shooting just combining them into a single image) and the file format - you can save it as a tiff to increase quality.

Top Tip: Set it to a 2 second delay to help reduce shake.

I'm curious, do you use any programs for editing on iPhone?

Mostly use the Lightroom app on my phone to edit images but I also have Snapseed which is very good. When I shoot with Lightroom it records a DNG and syncs it back to my computer at home with all the edits live - I can then further edit it, reset it and generally tweak it to my liking. The added bonus is those new edits then sync back to the phone.

Thank you for such a detailed answer! It looks like this program will significantly expand my photo opportunities in trips, as well as their editing!
