Following on from John's Blackbird fledglings in a nest box, here are a couple from yesterday morning.

The girlfriend noticed it just before we left for work, so I grabbed camera and took a couple of quick bursts.

The first is cropped, but 2 I took a step closer. Only bothered it for a few seconds then left it alone. The girlfriend had put a

couple of pear halfs near the back door and we think this is what it was being fed on at the time so it had moved closer to breakfast!
