Anyone use a laser printer?

looking at laser printers anyone here use one and can make any recommendations or warn me which to avoid?

I've got 2. 

Brother  HL 2140 getting a bit old now. Excellent for general office work. B/w only and I would certainly buy another.

Brother HL 3040 also getting old and has never produced good results, colourwise. 

I did have some commercial laser colour work done before Christmas and the quality still isn't as good as a good Ink Jet. The colours were a little washed out.

Probably not much help, but I thought I'd put in my two pennyworth.

i'm looking at a laser because you can get paper that allows you to transfer a print to a mug that will then be dishwasher proof so any info is appreciated

sorry for the slow reply, had a small issues with the roof leaking which may actually need replacing only about £25k so laser printer may have to wait lol. looking at reviews it seems inkjets are better for picture printing but lasers do the craft papers for mug printing etc

insurance wont cover it as it will be classed as wear and tear so looking at options at the moment.
