Wet Dome....

I visited 'The Dome' (Greenwich) one sunny afternoon a few years ago, partly to see the 'British Music Experience' (exhibition of the history of British music from 40's-today) and partly to see what The Dome was actually like inside....  Insides were fairly boring (+ expensive, £6.50 for a pint of yukky Spanish beer yuk.gif) and the BME had a strict 'No Photos' policy, so I wandered outside only to be met with this -   My poor ol' camera wasn't very happy trying to focus in such dismal light

Although a bit of an eyesore, I so like the geometric shapes in this....

Either WB or just Bo is fine Judy, I answer to most things that are polite, though I tend to inlre other names behind my back..... grin.gif

I gotta admit the reflection-shots were the best I'd ever managed to get, even with my old 35mm camera they just wouldn't work for me, looking fuzzy by various degrees..... scratchhead.gif  - Personally I'm rather fond of #2, with the 3-layered clouds and the way the light's catching the spiral post....

1st pic taken 'as is', straight from the camera and no tweaks of any sort - The 2nd pic is getting close to it's 'grain-limit' for any more cropping/resizing up again, the gasometer isn't too far from me so I might well take a trip there and try again, hopefully in decent light sunnysmile.gif

Although I quite enjoy tweaking photos, I always aim to get the shot with just the camera and no PC work afterwards -  Then again though, other folks often see pics 'differently', picking up on arrangements I never thought of 1thumbup.gif
