I assume that should say Archies Sister in the brackets lol

mixed views on this one. The background is very studio portrait. the pose, clothing etc are very candid shot and I'm struggling with that wondering why such a formal background with such informal pose and attire so not sure this works for me.

For me, it's great portrait (a moment captured) - but the skin tones put me off. I've had a tweak...

Just warmed the colour temperature and boosted saturation.

I like Chris's edit  as Well Judy much more easy on the eye.

I'd also comment that to my eye it seems slightly out of focus(but then my eyes are not that good these days:lol:) and saying that as it was took at 1/125 sec using a studio light then it is unlikely to be camera or subject movement and Leon should should check his focusing technique.

This was my edit of Ruby, I did PM it to Leon at the time and explain that I've probably gone OTT, I simply wanted to show what could be achieved with a simple 2 minute edit.

Leon is struggling to get to grips with PS and needs a little one-on-one tuition to get him started, unfortunately 100 miles is a little too far for me to travel :)

thanks for the comments, I'm not sure on Chris's edit, makes her look a bit mucky?

as for phils edit. it's cracking, but, i do think it's a bit too muck to give to a mum for a portrait...

it is frustrating, I can see there is so much potential for this shot, she's a lovely little girl, she kept sitting on my knee asking to look through the pictures of her on the camera.

and.... as soon as I get paid I'm signing up for a photoshop college course :)

Yes, hence my comment underneath. You need to click on my edit to see the version I actually uploaded.
