It's a loverly image Chrissy, I'm not a person who feels bound by rules but cannot help thinking the fence is to central and cropping  some off the bottom to put in on the bottom third would improve it but that's just me.

I'd second that, on the third - saw this yesterday and like it for the peace, colours and so on but felt something wasn't there - crop is a good idea

The only reason I dioidn't crop it (and I can see where you are coming from) is because I didn't want to loose the reflection of the red sky in the foreground. Would the picture benefit from loosing theis then do you think?

It is your image so that final decision rests with you Chrissy, but i think there is not that much red there for it to matter.

I think if you keep 2/3rds of the red it should work  - as Paul says, it's your photo and you don't have to agree

I think you could crop a slice off the bottom - not as much as has been suggested perhaps - leaving the red in the reflection? But it's a lovely image.
