Had a play this morning with another five shot bracketed sequence taken at Cragside last week. 

This is just (I hope) the right side of being a true HDR image and not too far into tone mapping territory. 

 

Nikon D300s + AF-S 16-85mm VR

Baring in mind this is five separate files and I was hand holding the camera the software has done a very decent job of aligning them and getting the fine detail sharp.

This is a 100% crop and its a fairly old 12mp sensor but it still does a decent job.
