The Jealous Chaffinch - Fuji XC50-230mmF4.5-6.7 OIS Lens

This little chap kept coming to my friends conservatory window and trying to chase off the reflection (competitor) he could see. Shooting through glass is almost never going to produce a satisfactory nature image but did provide a useful real-life test of the lens. This is definitely a lens I shall be happy to use again.

I've just bought the 55-200, looking at this I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost for the little extra speed.

It's getting its first outing tomorrow, so the proof of the pudding...

Beautiful shot Bill and nothing wrong with shooting through the window when the results are this good.

Thanks OlyPaul. I had to clean up a lot of spots in pp.

I am waiting to see what the 100-400 is like next year. I'm delighted with the whole Fuji kit so far.

Hope your outing goes well.
