Yesterday I was trying out that vintage HOYA 200-2.8 Telephoto M42 thread, Prime lens on my Panasonic GX7, so everything was being done totally manually, not easy when its not practised enough.

 

As I was strolling by the pool, this lovely lady agreed to have her portrait taken, she stood patiently whilst I fiddled and focussed, at the full 200 this is totally ....As-Shot....except for my processing, the original RAW file is HUGE.

 

I have already sent her copies, in colour and in mono;  after a very quick request for them.

 

It was an interesting excercise in using old methods....as a comparision, I will be walking about with my fully Auto Dedicated LUMIX 200mm lens on today.
