There his so many good things about this picture Paul, I like the shapes in it, but I have to agree with bugmeister re the slight slope on the horizon, and also the water is a lot more prominent on the right side of the picture, --maybe a bit of dodging and burning on the sky and left hand side sea may balance things a bit?

Sorry to grumble Paul, just may observations,

Your final edit is excellent.

The composition is just about perfect, but what really does it for me is the expression on the man's face - he looks very glad to be going home, must be hard work looking after a child and trying to catch fish!

I love it. My only reservation (didn't notice any slope to the horizon!) is the lighthouse thing, which seems to be growing out of the boy's head. If it was mine, I'd either clone it out, move it, or - which may be the most satisfactory solution - blur it, the way the furthest railings are blurred.

Thanks for the feed back guys I agree with the comments and I have made the adjustments and am now happy with it. :)

For me you now have a really good picture Paul, nice work,--  although I do hear what Chris is saying re the structure above the lads head, and while I could live with it I think he has a point,----your choice,
