norasport is a collection of nutters on Bikes, Quads and Superlite (open wheel buggy things with bike engines in.)

These are your best shots to date Leon, you have caught, action, expression and atmosphere......It appears that you were using very high shutter speeds to freeze the action, this is great.

But to add even more atmosphere have a go at reducing the shutter speed to 30th sec ( plus or minus) then Pan at the same speed as the vehicle,,you may need to practice on practice days rather than during a race.......the BG will be blurry with speed lines adding to the atmosphere whils keeping you all important vehicle and rider in focus.

I will admit, to only trying thus, during the odd bike rally that comes through town, so haven't had much practice.

You seem to have it just right on a couple of the shots above.....they are fantastic.

the thing with Three sisters is there's only one straight, there's loads of junk in the background, marshall's huts ect, trying to pan on corners when you's far away is pretty difficult.

this is about the best panning shot I managed.
