I use sandisk extreme pro cards and have as yet not found a problem with the buffer of the D7100, except on rare occasions
I am looking for a card like this,.. have you got any idea what speed yours is? I find more than one speeds

I think my investment would be mainly in doing the free shoots and the referral to the website I give them. this is where they see the photos and say they love or hate them.
And I hope word would go around like that.
The flatcoated retriever walkies for example was also a great opportunity to do photos and they all end up on facebook, watermarked but they do get around as the walks are very much promoted so are the photos.
Here one of the FC walks(I did mention this in another post)I must say the feedback I got on the walkies photos are brilliant

I do kind of feel guilty charging, but if I start to give free, people do take advantage. I noticed that mainly when I did drawings.
This photo was the choice of the costumer, he buys it for his mum as a birthday present, I presume he would like the digital format. -
Hi,
I recently took some photos of a friends dog and her son would like them as a birthday present (he seen them online)
How much could I charge , plus do I sell them with or without watermark at the bottom?
here is one of the photos -
thank you guys I never thought I could win!
It also shows when you miss a shot, it is always worth it to look for other things. -
I usually say something like, none of my cameras take photos,.. I leave them on the table all day and when I get back to check them none of them have taken any photos.

great post, what keyboard did you use?
-
It arrived and it seems sturdy, much better than the silvercrest one.
A different system to what I am used to. No shake any more, only if I leave my battery pack on (generic)
the only complaint is the head which moves quite slowly but I can replace that when I want to.
I did test it in the garden in the sea breeze with my 150-500 too. only at the highest level the legs bend a tiny bit, but I doubt if I will use it that way any way. -
thank you for that website that is a very good tool.
I will try it with my 150-500mm as the description suggest it holds up to 5kg.
Before this , I had a lidl(silvercrest) tripod,.. and with my 70-300mm I got shake from the moment it focussed,.. so that will be my main test! And I live at the beach so the wind is there too to test -
From what I believe this tripod was £169 hence I thought
1, it's a bargain
2. if it was that expensive, it should be quality too?
I will take it out the box, try it and if it does feel same like my £15 lidl (silvercrest) I will send it back -
I have this tripod coming soon,.. I am on a budget so I hope it is any good.
Does anyone have experience with one of these?

Is this site safe before telling people to download has it been checked for malware etc
Ok appears so but always check
http://www.dpreview.com/news/2014/05/05/onone-software-s-perfect-effects-8-available-for-free
I suggest you also right click and save target as then save the program to the desktop, don't just click download as it will install, that way you can virus check it
All checked and running it on my laptop,.. to run it you do need quite a bit of RAM I only have 6gig ram but I allocated 6 more from my Hard drive and all seem to work fine

Not sure what it does but it is an effects plugin for lightroom, it normally cost $100 so get downloading! -
I really enjoy the macro shots on here! The only reason I don't comment a lot is because I think everyone here is more advanced than I am. I only started a few months ago so I can lean more from people like you and your macro for example, so don't stay away too long!

Hi all, I want your advice on this please.
I am organising a Flatcoat walk on monday and will take my d7100 with me, and tamron 70-300 and 50mm lens. should I take an external flash too?
It will be mainly black dogs in and out the water, a group shot etc. I take plenty of shots in action of my dogs but would like to know how your approach on this will be
Setup will be at earlham park in Norwich with a river to use- 1

I use a pair yongnuo speedlights,.. the 560-II and 560-III
for macro I use a vintage starblitz macro flash ring
I am on a budget!! I love my yongnuos though -
Well I did go,.. but my knees and back were protesting, I managed to get a couple of shots just after the finish. I could not wait til the next race though

It's horse racing today across the bridge (GY racecourse)
Now do I take my 150-500mm and try to take some shots from on top of the bridge or not? I can see part of the course there.
It a cheap way of doing it lol but I dont fance paying £35 to go and see.
I litterally have to leave my garden and get on the bridge right behind it! -
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tssystems.photomate2
this seems to be software similar to lightroom.now lightroom is out for iOS and android has to wait I wonder if this is any good?
it would be handy as my D7100 sends the photos to my tablet so I could edit them from there -
I do hope I made the right choice and I am confident I will try and find out everything and experiment with it more.
I needed something with weather coating as I am out a lot with wet dogs. so a few drops won't make me panic as such like I do with my d3100.
-
After spending my time with the D3100 , I thought it was time for an upgrade. I have ordered the D7100, a bit more pro-like I can keep my lenses and I also ordered the wifi .

Or get a Mac! You can put together a high-class photo book of your own in iPhoto and send the file off to Apple who will print it off - hardback, high quality paper - for somewhere around twenty quid.
a PC will do too,.. plenty of software and websites who do this. (my mobile does too)
-
did the same one on facebook, but I'd like your opinion too.
Caption this: -
are you sure this is your camera? I believe you got mine!

d7100, and I certainly agree on the buffer it is annoying when you try to take photos of a bird diving!
every time I see these and I miss the shot, there are more diving while I have to wait for the buffer
