Well done to that lady, and well done to all of the serving soldiers that are serving in places like that.

Beautiful.
Congratulations!

Lovely collection, Barbara.

You should be proud of yourself.
At least they should have offered you the courtesy of putting your name to the pics.

Beatiful.
I love the warmness of this shot.
Well deserved, Geoff.

They are very pleasing pictures, even though edited.

Could it be condensation spots? I had them in my camera once, so I left it for a while and they disappeared.

Best advice is:
Don't do it. I tried cleaning mine and ended up making it worse, and it cost me a lot of money to have the sensor replaced in my Nikon.
If it's affecting the picture, take it to a camera shop or send it away to be done properly.
I learned the hard way.

Yes, it fits from 52-67mm. It has spring clips like a lens cover. i got mine from Amazon. About £38 on average everywhere that I looked and comes with the adaptor needed.
Works Ok on a bridge camera too. Mine's 52mm.
Haven't tried it on the SLR yet.

I don't have a car or caravan to pay for, but don't usually have any spare money, so I thought I would have the Raynox before I have to make a start on the eight grandchildren,s Christmas presents, along with my own three and their spouses presents.
Also have my daughter to sponser as she is running a half marathon next month in aid of the MS Society which is what her husband suffered with before he died last year.
Luckily the older grandchildren will have money, but I thought I would get some of the other presents soon, as I will be unable to do shopping for a few weeks after the knee replacement.
Oh the joys of getting old (well in the body anyway, as the head still says that I am 40 years younger

Some naughty person on here mentioned the Raynox Macro attachment, and after years of looking and longing I was convinced by the shots that I had seen on here, so treated myself out of some money that I had left after my holidays. ( A rarity to have any money left, I might add)
Anyway, it arrived during the week and I am really pleased with it, but need a lot more practice.
The box that it came in is quite strong but a bit bulky to put in my camera bag, so I came up with this.
After hunting ebay for something of the right proportions that will take the lens attached to the holder, I came up with this.
Case from Poundland and a 50p peice of felt from the market to protect the lens from any inside stitching in the case and for £1.50 I have the lens well protected. ( The same case on ebay is selling for nearly £4 Tut!)
The sides are a snug fit so the lens won't shake around in it. I have found it easier to take it out of the case if I place it in face up.
If the felt proves to make the lens dusty with the fine fibres, then I will look for some very thin foam to replace it with.
Hope some of you will find the info useful.
I have one for my friend who has just bought the Raynox as well.
Now for some practice. :pic:
