Thanks for the info it does help. And thanks for the welcome. Another quick question... How do I add a signature to posts? I have looked (probably not well enough, I am a man after all Haha) but I can't see anywhere to add one

Thanks for the welcome's everyone. I have posted an image up in the wildlife section of two starlings on my bird table from a few months back. I am not sure where to add an image for the image of the month though. And hi Tina yeah I am the same about video I much prefer stills. I have been out quite a few times in my local dene taking a few photos as autumn really kicks in. But I must admit I have been slightly disappointed by the results as a whole but I have a few I am pleased with.

And yes that's right and capturing a moment in time - a look, a glance or a smile, among others, that would otherwise be lost for ever. That's one of the special aspects of photography
