They flew too far west to see them in the north west, but I can only imagine the majesty of the sight of the trio.
Paul.
I was hoping there Reds might run out and lead them over Waddington.

Very nice Colin, i very nearly went up to loop but changed my mind at last moment, glad i did it was rammed
The 'Wave' was fairly quiet until about 30 mins beforehand then it went silly. I almost went to Cranwell, fancied a shot of the 130 coming over College Hall but thought that might be closed to the public to give the 'students' a better view. Most people stayed in the Wave carpark, I wondered up the road for a head on shot. I've never been to the loop, seen some cracking photos from there but I never seem to get the enthusiasm to travel that far these days.

Oh dear ... I'm sorry to sound negative Mr Monkey but I really don't like the fake sky.
Nothing against using a replacement sky but this is so over the top it has completely dominated the picture almost making the two aircraft redundant, as a viewer I wonder is it about the aircraft or the sky?
Personally I see nothing wrong using a replacement sky especially on the days that give you a dull grey sky or even just a blue cloudless backdrop, but I think moderation is the key.
Looking at the original I see a sky that works and maybe just needs pulling out of the original raw file something I would do using layer masking.
It is of course your photo and your choice and as long as your happy with it ?

Those rain clouds add some drama which is great, Colin. I like the symmetry of the first one.
10 mins later I got soaking wet !

Thank you. was struggling as my back has been bad lately so i didnt drop shutter as low as i would have liked. Getting better slowly need to get out more now
Nice shot - shutter speed is low enough, whilst it's great to get more prop blur sometimes it's better to have a sharper picture.

As Ryewolf above, a very nice set but some would benefit from a little adjustment especially on the shadows ?

A nice set Mr Monkey, I was hoping to get up to Waddington myself but the unkind weather hasn't helped.

Not bad for a Samsung s22 in low light.
There looks to be a lot of noise in them Paul but not bad, not bad at all with nice colouring and shading

Training Ukrainian pilots?
No Monomania this is for the 2023 airshow season. Each year the new pilot has to work out a display, starting with model aircraft, then using a simulator before heading out in a Typhoon over the North Sea to practice. After several runs (and a few weeks) the display is run at height (this display was 1500ft) and watched by ground based supervisors. Between now and probably late April/May if all goes well the height will be lowered to 500ft to obtain a Public Display Authority (PDA) giving permission to fly at airshows.
