Have I missed something? Is it some new fangled underwater/jet ski/high speed/ disabled buggy your friend is using??
No I meant generally, they would not be as good as GOPRO for sports
-
I bought One Of These a couple of weeks ago and the quality is everywhere near as good as the GoPro, and if all your friend wants it for is his scooter handle bars...
But to only 3m, so useless at 70mph on a jet ski

Sorry you won't just been told by the Manager of London camera Exchange Plymouth, they got an email this morning
Recall!
Hells teeth they're not messing about. I knew about the issue and thought it would be a firmware fix, which it should be but I suppose with the D600 debacle they're not taking chances.Thats the trouble with rushing things to the market, you are 100% Right

That was quick
Nikon recalls cameras (mine inc) for upgrade to stop white dots in long exposures

He is going to London, mounting the go pro on the handle bars will allow him to record his journey, also as he finds it hard to use a camera he can "video" his visits to museums and one click pressing a button on the gopro takes a 14MP image
-
Actually always wanted one, could never afford it as you know they were better than tape casette
-
NOT if using a hand held meter as you would read the meter from where you are standing

It would caost more to repair that to buy a new one.
I got a Nikon 55-300 and only paid about £139-149 for it. It has had so much use already.
I can't remember if I bought it off Amazon or here. https://www.buyacamera.co.uk/home.asp but both have some good sales.
i can post the model number later if you like.
I think the model is discontinued but there were a lot of new ones floating around the net.
This lens always gets good reviews
