No I didnt .... I assumed the camera in Paul McCartneys hand was a nod to his wife Linda
Very probably, but his brother is also a well known photographer

Very nice shot, it's been many years since I've been to Liverpool, a return visit looks like it's on the cards.

Not like the bears I'm afraid ..... these were pretty close up together in a roped off area, so people milling around .... when the bears were at Eastside there was a lot more room
Did you not follow the trail?? I did it on my days off, took me parts of Birmingham I would never bother travelling to.

I was going to see them, but I've been busy over in Worcester, I was hoping it was going to be like the last few "Art Trails" they've had in Birmingham, sadly I saw a photo of them all in one place.

Ooh that would be good to see... Any chance ?
I've been looking through boxes and boxes of Dad's old photos, still haven't found it, there's prints and transparencies to go through, he was a keen photographer, and the one would got me into photography, I'll keep looking until I find it.

Superb photos, I've got a photo of me back in 1968 of me standing on the footplate of the Flying Scotsman, I don't know how it happened, but I do know my Dad, who apparently took the photo, used to work on the railways before I was born.

Not long joined up, although I had the website saved for a while, I currently live in Solihull, famous for the Land Rover.
I've been a professional photographer since 1985, I'm due to retire in 2023, but I can't see me putting the cameras away, as I still enjoy taking photographs, my main subjects are landscape/seascapes and travel, Getty images and travel magazines are still interested in my work, so I'll carry on while there's still a market for my work.
I'm looking forward to getting back to travelling once things get a little easier, way too many hoops to jump through at the moment to even think of travelling overseas, but I have a few trips booked for next year.

I had to pass through Birmingham last week, hardly recognised the place, Smallbrook Queensway pretty much boarded up, and all around Bristol Street demolished, sadly I couldn't take any photos as I was in the back of a black cab.
