Fuji, Yes I have seen this clip before, my setup is a scaled down version of his.
He is using a 10x microscope infinity objective and producing stacks from
a small area of the subject and then stitching them together to produce the very large image

BP, yes the same, I had a heck of a job in mounting it. I stripped down an old c-mount lens in the hope that it would fit, of course that would have been too easy, it's all part of the fun I suppose.

Thanks Fuji, I've also got a old microfiche lens which I'll try out over the next few days, I suspect it will be very similar to this lens, I'm going to push it with a few more extension tubes,

Yet another macro lens for my collection, this one is different, its a lens I removed from a old 35mm film scanner. I don't know the focal length or f,number. I managed to jamb it into a C-mount adapter after a trial found it works best when reversed, here is my first stack. I'm very pleased with the result.

Fuji, I believe the go-pro on the flies head is its antenna,
I'm not able to find this fly in any of my books ,so not sure what it is.

OlyMike,You're right of course, but it is pulling in more detail in shadow areas, I think a little more time spent with it I may get the balance right.
