Thanks and i agree not really my thing, i bet ive driven past this a fair few hundred times and never stopped only went on this shoot as a friend had just got new camera. Aviation, BIF and Landscapes are my thing

Thanks, a lot of history there as parts are 700 years old, some amazing detail in the smaller rooms on ceilings but short of lying down on my back on floor i couldn't look up to see or shoot, arthritism in neck

As stated on other post im way out my comfort zone in this type of photography but still enjoyed a few hows out 

Saw this parked in front of my car in Southwell 

Way out my comfort zone at Southwell minster today not a genre ive photographed before, and had the wrong foot on my big lens so could use tripod so Hand held sat down shutter speed 1/100 f5.6 focal lengh 200mm but heres the biggy ISO 25,600 and its pretty clean 

I got it last year as it flew over RAF Coningsby at 25,000 ft   

Well caught ive never seen a Woodpecker, heard thousands over the years spent carp fishing 

Thanks, Yes those old big Sigmas and the newer ones really do need good light and a bit of luck but my go to is EF 100-400mm mk11 with 1.4x mk111 extender that knocks the Big Sigms and Tamrons right out the park, but they should given the cost, My wife still uses the older mk1 100-400mm and that is a sharper faster lens than the superzooms but they do have benefits at airshows where the displays have been pushed too far away, but i dont go there, far to many people about for me 

My one and only Apache thru loop taken some 10 years ago on 7D and Sigma 150-500mm Just go to show old gear can still hold its own
