Yea I Dennis I find that explorer in W10 is unreliable and glitchy for transfering files if there not on the main drive and will hang or freeze. Have you tried moving them with another program or importing them then move them with that program

Thanks guys unexpected as there are so many good images here.

I was asked to contact her to arrange a fee, unfortunately that's the only time this has happened... I live in hope...
I sold a couple from PBase John as well, one to a New Zealand University and one to a American Civil war writer for a book.

Instead of just leaving them sitting on the computer I thought I'd do something with them for the wife's birthday Tues, a set of 16" x 16" canvas prints of the three pooches.
Just a quick snapLooks better in theflesh.

Well specified, neat and quick - I would also look at the OM-D range and the Panasonic GF7 which have a great range of (tiny) lenses available which is where the Sony falls down a little.
As Olympus fan I have to agree with BP to take a look at the Panasonic and OM-D range especially the OM-D E-M10 for smallness, one of these with the epz 14-42 (28-84), 40-150 150 (80-300) al fit into the smalelst messenger bag and still have room fpr a prime lens, the problem with the Sony is once you get past the kit lens there is not really a size advantage as he lenses are quite large DSLR size. Do not worry about quality of images from micro four thirds it is up there with the APS sensor and better in some cases.

I'm getting confused here not enoughth information, is it just the NEW card that will not work with the DNG converter or files from your other cards as well? If the former it is a card problem, if the later then sounds like a corrupt file in the dng converter, Also you do not day if you are using the inbuilt converter of CS6 or the standalone one. To the best of my knowledge this standalone converter works with XP. but needs to have XP service pack 3 installed
Product Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter Version 8.2 Platform Windows File Name DNGConverter_8_2.exe File Size 129.3MB Proceed to Download
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 3, Windows Vista® with Service Pack 2, Windows 7, or Windows 8

I couldn't do without the articulated screen and the tiltable viewfinder on my GX7 ....... I have a wonderful GF1 M4/3 camera without either, I find it very difficult to use now, especially in bright daylight.
FUJI
Fuji the GX7 is a tilting screen not a articulated one.

New kit always gives your photography a boost Ron and the articulated screen was the the reason I changed to the E-M5 mk2 ..ENJOY Ron.

I think its the way it goes
You buy a camera with a kit lens then you decide to take people so you buy a an 85 prime then thats too long so you buy a 50mm prime then you fancy landscape so you buy a wide angle then macro and on and on it goes before long you have several bodies several lens several flash guns a couple of tripods etc etc
A pile of dust appears and you sell the lot and buy something lighter, vowing never to get carried away again BUT there is just that lens that you really cant do without
and the cycle starts againI am on my 3rd cycle is this normal ??
YEP,,,been there, talking about just digital I started of with Canon then the Olympus E-system then the Olympus micro four thirds system.
Then I got a itch and wondered if I was missing something by not having a dslr again so I invested in a Nikon and four lenses. luckily this time I kept my Olympus just in case and the Nikon stuff has now gone.
I down sized my Oly kit to one body and five lenses, I even sold the dedicated 60mm macro lens, unless you are really into macro they do tend to sit gathering dust and nothing comes close to my 75mm f1.8 for portraits.
Even before I sold the macro lens for the oddclose up shots I took I found myself just screwing a Sigma double element close up filter on my 40-150mm as yo get a great working distance between the lens and subject.

Looks good to me, perhaps you need more RAM ?
Thanks JH, just had a new computer with a inrtel 5 core processer and 8 Gig of ram, it just that the AS program is very processer hungry.
It's alright for rescuing family snaps for viewing especially those of sentimental value but not up to my standard so most of those type of shots will still go in the trash bin unless the have sentimental value then I run AS on them..
