On an indirectly related note, being unable to offer advice on the specific detail above, please remember to bear in mind the insurance of your photographic gear.
If your home insurance firm can find evidence that you are trying to sell your photos (you needn't have sold any) they won't cover your stuff and you will need specific equipment insurance.
Hopefully you already have this but it doesn't occur to people that this would be the case. Your car insurance might suffer also.

I've used this a bit when I hired one, it's lovely. Can't wait to see your results with it, mate.

Hi, Paul.
I was thinking the name and equipment list looked familiar and then saw your website link

Hi There!
Thought I would pop in and say hello! I'm from the south east of the UK and have been into photography since I took it up 21 years ago at school. My first job was as a photographer's assistant and B&W printing technician although I did a fair bit of colour printing too, spending hours in darkrooms and studios working with 5 x 4 and 10 x 8 sheet film bellows cameras alongside medium format and 35mm cameras.
I had to give up after moving on from this job and losing the perk of being able to process my own photos and film which I couldn't otherwise afford.
Then, about 8 years ago I got back into it from the digital perspective. I am a Canon man, as I was with my old film days and I still own a Canon AT-1 which I bought a few years ago, but don't use as much as I ought to.
Look forward to seeing all your work!

Advice re selling my images

Chrissy, I think the gallery portion of your site presents the images very nicely, although agree a little work on the other content might be worthwhile. However, I would take advice on how 'beginner' your site looks from someone with a business contact email address @tesco.net with a pinch of salt
