Well done, Kev!

Totally useless!
I've just had the below online chat with an Adobe rep. He took control of my machine, adjusted a few settings, then finishes by telling me it's a trait of the latest versions of LR and PS and I'm stuck with not exporting what I'm seeing in both programs.
This is the latter 2 thirds of the conversation, the first was in a different chat window before he took control.----------------------------------------------------------

It already is calibrated, and done regularly for a few years now. Even if it wasn't calibrated the 2 images should match, surely?

I never save for the web after using LR6 and PSE 15 as once I am happy with the edit I resize then Save As.
I use 'Save As' so I can control the file size, besides, Save As is the same. I don't think the problem is the saving, I think it's the way Adobe is displaying the images, colour space etc.
23 hours ago, Clicker said:Are you using chrome as your browser by any chance?
Indeed I am.

This has driven me mad for a couple of weeks now, I can only assume it is related to Adobe's updates at the time. I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
As you can see from the PS screenshot, using the Save For Web option has increased the saturation. The same is happening with LR, the image on the left is the exported version of what you see within LR.

I have 2 Yongnuos, both have never let me down, although they are the cheaper ones without TTL. Spend a few more quid (still less than your £100 budget) and get a Yongnuo with compatible TTL and you'll be quids in, compared to Canon's 430EX or the 560EX (I've owned both).

As I and others have noted the 'new posts' soon get lost dropping out of view. I think recent items need to be just that not a link to a blank page waiting for todays 52 etc entries etc which can often be the only things on view as member postings have been pushed down.
Missed this, sorry, Colin.
The only answer here is to remove the Recent Topics box. I'm not sure how many members actually use it, I certainly do not, I tend to scroll down looking for highlighted icons where I know there is unread content. With that said, I am Admin and it's my duty to ensure nothing is amiss. -
I'm not 100% sure how to respond to these comments but I'll give it a go.
10 hours ago, colinb said:So - do we need to look at the 'like' as 'read' and if you do look and don't wish to comment tick the dam thing so the poster at least knows someone care enough to look?
I can't rename the button, all I can is remove it altogether. I'll be honest here, I don't click the button if I don't like the image, if I feel I can give constructive criticism I do.
I don't think even Beepy or Korky are aware but I can see who viewed an image, at what time and how many times they returned. I can say with confidence that the vast majority of images posted are viewed, whether someone feels compelled to comment is up to the individual.9 hours ago, Rick448 said:I'm not sure if this forum allows the number of views to be shown as I have seen on many others.
We can, but we don't. This is another issue that cropped up a few years ago which we elected to do away with.

I believe I already follow you.
I don't Follow anyone religiously, mainly wedding photographers (purely because I shot a couple last year (weddings that is, not photographers)). I've also had my fill of gear freaks; Jason Lanier, Karl Taylor etc., they seriously wind me up so I don't view there work anymore!
The vast majority of those I follow have stemmed from YouTube.
A random selection I follow and aspire to:Thomas Heaton - He has a seriously good YouTube channel.
Simon Baxter - Landscape photographer who also has a good YouTube channel.
Both the Northrups, Tony and Chelsea - An acquired taste but I enjoy 'em, also on YouTube.
Irene Rudnyk - A very good natural light portrait photographer, also on YouTube.
Elena Karneeva - Brilliant portrait photographer and PS editor. If she has a YouTube channel I'd probably need a translator.
Robin Hunter - God knows why!- 1

I had to take a deep breath since this is some of the very issues we have on the site I am the admin on.
I believe it's the trait of forums in general, far too many members are keen to display their work and sit back to await praise/crit etc. without taking the time to comment on other topics. Participation, it's the key to any successful forum, if TIPF didn't have its stalwarts it would have disappeared into the mire many moons ago.
BTW, there are 2 Us in 'humor'
