anyone ever had a go at timelapse?

here's my 2nd go at it, very very short but you get the idea, sat with the tripod in the car and the window open, just around 0 degrees so hence the length of the video, there are about 60 pictures here, may wait till summer :)

I started trying to do time lapse with a stills camera, but when I thought about all those shutter actuations I thought I was going about it the wrong way. I switched to using a video camera but had a lot of problems with vibrations and file size. I ended up using my old Blackberry Bold smartphone mounted on the centre headrest in my van and using Windoze moovy maker to edit the results. Here's one of my shorter films, there are longer ones on my Youtube channel for those of you who have nothing better to do

I have  Nikon D3200 camera and a tiny cordless Nikon remote release, but does this one here have something that can time the interval between shots or do you have to time it yourself?
