so for the ones out there who know me, Mtorsport is my thing, I eve have a YouTube channel "Chat Motorsport" I don't get to anywhere near the amount of events I used to sadly
so, here are a few shots of the Superlite cars and bikes from a few weeks ago, the first time out with the new to me Sigma 70-200 F2.8.

A few weeks ago I traded in my much loved and heavily used Canon 70-200 F4, I really wanted the F2.8 version but I dont have the funds at the ,minute so I settled on a used Sigma Version.
WHY didn't I do this YEARS AGO, having a crop sensor I'm getting good reach, and the separation of the F2.8 is amazing.
and the price! trading in my lens and the 1.4X converter meant that it only cost me £50!
here are a few shots from Leighton moss a couple of weeks ago, (why do I always get so many Robin pics?)
the rat's were entertaining, I realise they are seen as vermin but they are survivors..
The First image is of a Marsh Harrier, MILES away so sadly this is just a record shot so I can say I have seen one.
5th shot, Bearded Tits, so difficult to get between the reeds.. they have Feeders set up but the day I went there were obviously not hungry. (they put grit on the feeders, to help digestion apparently)

Great place that, I walked my Dog there last spring, I actually took a load of Pictures but I don't know where they are?

hi All, again apologies for not being around again, you know what life can get like.
so just over a year ago we rescued a German shep cross Lurcher Cali, she took a lot of patience as she had been mistreated she's now soooo well behaved, she's my baby (Ball in her mouth)
and just over a week ago a lady knocked on our door and offered us Ava as due to circumstances at home she could no longer keep her, she had seen the way we were with Cali, 8 months old and she'd make Tigger look calm!

You did well Leon, something I would never undertake to do in case I ruined the day!
I have another couple coming up! October and March..
-
good news Fuji. we had a Bengal once.. we couldn't keep him in! he was once spotted climbing into the 2nd floor kitchen window to steal food at the Nursing home at the bottom of our street it's a brick building! sadly he vanished, we think either someone stole him or was knocked over on the main road..
A couple of weeks ago we lost "Steve" Buttons out 17 year old ragdoll, he deteriorated quickly he was loosing fur and weight really quickly, then the Wifey found him collapsed in his litter tray straight to the vet for his final journey
I have also said NO more animals now, the kids are getting older, 2 of them are working, have college and spend time at a stables so it's not fair on everyone let alone another Moggie.

this couple are friends of mine, My old Manager Nick and Liz (She's in white) we all worked together for about 7 years.
I was asked to take "journalistic" photos to capture the emotions of the day. Lighting was HORRIBLE! my 70-200 F4 wasnt really upto the job, but they both LOVE the photo's and I got a free night out in a swanky Hotel

Both equally good to my eyes Leon, I'm sure there is a market amongst the participants for images of them 'doing their thing'
you would have thought so... nobody was in the slightest bit interested, even when someone I know who knows the main people at the place shared them.. NADA... wont be going back there then

ever been to the two (as I know of) in Bolton? they are marked but one of them is hard to find and unloved. the road upto one of them is now a private road and maybe a 2 mile walk. the other is at the top of a rocky path but I know every year people do make the trek up and remember the fallen.
if you ever fancy the trip up I'd be happy to show you.

Interesting stuff, I've subscribed! Just a note: don't know if it was deliberate or not, but rather than taking me to your channel, the link in your original post is to a point halfway through one of your videos...
thanks for letting me know. now changed the link thanks for subscribing.
