Buying Photo mounts.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Does anyone here buy Photo Mounts and have  a recommendation of a good on-line supplier. To be honest I dont even know if thats what they are called, I am on about the cardboard that you mount photos on for competitions and the such . Like these below

Many thanks

I used to just buy the card and cut my own mounts with a Stanley knife and a steel ruler... until one day a judge said it looked like I'd cut it out with a knife & fork!
Nowadays I buy pre-cut mounts from Hobbycraft.   I don't order on-line though as they have a big shop in a nearby town.

Thanks guys will check them out. Much appreciated. I did consider very briefly cutting my own.

Cutting your own is a real pain and bought versions usually have a nice bevel edge and work out cheaper by the time you've added a bit of waste. I buy via a local store (admittedly not a lot of help to you in Faro).
