What must it be like to have the skill to fly a plane. Great set.
  2. Taken at Aberfoyle, Scotland. Who's knocking?

    POTW 30/10/23

Well done Gareth. I said they were cracking photographs.
  4. Some great shots there Gareth. I have been to Richmond Park, but I think I prefer Bushey park to photpgraph deer; it's smaller than Richmond, so there is less time hunting the deer. Nevertheless, you have some cracking shots there.
  5. I agree wholeheartedly.
  6. Sure you don't want to get the duster out as well Polly? Great image Mark.
  7. So sorry to hear of your travails, Dee. My thoughts are with you.

    POTW 16 - 22/10/23.

I have been reminded this week that spotting an unusual Pattern/angle/or symmetry in a photograph goes a long way to capturing the attention of the viewer, with Hatter's, 'Sunset seagull', Martyn's, 'Stacked', and C Munzel's, 'Snowdrops', grabbing my attention. However, my choice for the POTW is Mikbone's 'Eye Lad', for the sheer detail in this amazing macro. Congratulations Mikbone. See the Full post here.

And very minimilistic it is too. I love it Cheryl.
  10. Love the direction of light. Very well spotted and taken.
  11. Good choice Cheryl. Congratulations Homer.
  12. Great choice, Polly - It's nice to read your reasoning behind your choice as well. Congratulations Ryewolf.
  13. Nice shot. I saw a lot of these in Scotland.
  14. I don't know if you have one Homer, but for stacked macos I use a focusing rail, so I can have my focusing 1mm apart and 30-70 shots are quite common..
  15. Snow Leopard with a more interesting, (I hope), background.
  16. Congratulations Cheryl. A great image.
  17. Suuch delicate shades of colour. Blushing indeed.
  18. The stand out image for me this week is Paul's Crab spider, of 'Crab Spider and Snout Mite'. It's the amazing detail that does it for me. I know we shouldn't use anthropomorphism, but I do like the enigmatic expression. Congratulations Paul. Full post can be seen here
  19. Typo here. It's Combine ZP.
  20. They really are ugly little blighters, aren't they. Cracking shot.
  21. It sure does, Polly. This is someting I must get my teeth into - night photography.
