  1. Thank you. They are excellent models for macro photography. They turn their heads and look at you and hold perfectly still. I’ve come to love them.
  2. Wow! excellent, Paul. Love its face.
  3. Ok that makes sense. I could use some grandchildren with IT expertise.
  4. Its my turn to choose the best photo of the week and I am choosing Pigeon, a great bird in flight capture. Technically very good with the head sharp and the wings blurred creating a sense of movement. Blurred background separates the bird well too. Congratulations homer2067. 5. congratulations Martyn. An excellent set.
  6. it is an interesting set of photos of what is clearly a stunning statue. Think my favorites are the close ups.
  7. You’re doing very well for someone new to this genre.
  8. I love the minimalist composition of this image. Square format works well too.
  9. Well captured if a bit ughh, as clicker said.
  10. It’s a beautiful image, clicker. I love the subdued tones and rosy pink on the horizon.
  11. Excellent image, monkey.

It’s amazing sharpness for such a tiny crop.

Amazing. I’ve never tried anything like that
  14. I like these especially the first one with its square composition and cool tones.
  15. Here you go. I added some floor to the bottom. I had to change the square format to an 8x10 format. I added a brown filter while I was at it.
  16. Thanks Polly. I am going to try extending the floor in front of the light areas. Seems to me they take the eye out of the frame. Thoughts?
  17. Another raptor from the plains country near home.
