Fabulous,  Monkey ... strange how the camera lens sees  more than the naked eye isn't it ... Glorious colours ...well done Sir ...👏

Thanks, To be honest there wasn’t much if any difference at its strongest, the stats where way of the measured charts  At one point I could look north south east west and directly up and the whole sky wherever I looked was a mass of colour

Thank you, The sun doesn’t start winding down from its 11 year cycle till this time next year so this winter has the potential to be even better than last Friday as it’s been proven to be most active at the end of the cycle although Fridays stats having been recorded now are said to be the strongest G5 storm since records began in the 1800s So stronger storms may happen but there are many variables that have to line up for us to see it starting with the cmes/flares actually coming directly to earth then the magnetic field has to be south at the right time (it more often is north) also Fridays event was classed as a canibal flare as several flares left the sun separately and the last one was bigger and faster thus catching up the other and totally engulfed them growing exponentially (hence why it’s called canibal) then of course you need. Cloudless night and no or little moon there are several other factors but I don’t fully understand them, so as you see it then becomes a one in a million chance of happening hence why you don’t see it like this, when magnetic field stays north only counties that get to see it are up in the Arctic or down in the Antarctic
