Layer Masking

I do like the new masking options, although I tend to stick to LR far more the PS, but being able to select a sky or subject with one click and then intersect the mask is very handy and it does a great job.

As for the shots, that first one is SUPERB! The colour is just spot on. Love it. 🙂

Great photos, Colin. I went to my first air show a month or so back with my camera. They’re exhilarating to watch. None of my photos were up to your standard though.
I’ve been learning to use PS layer masks and enjoying them control they give in the siting.

Hi Matt  - I struggle a little editing with LR. I find PS so much easier and you can now select sky or subject as well as various adjustments, even processing RAW is so much better now I seldom bother with LR.  And thank you for your kind comment.

I used to find them a right faff, so much improved now that I'm starting to look back through my raw files to see what I can do with them.
