Acari Mite (under 1mm in size)

Arachnida (Acari - Mite) - Oribatida -  Humerobatidae like Humerobates?  Size <1mm

I had 3 extension tubes on my macro lens and I couldn't get any closer - the last is a crop.

I think it's case of if you know how to look, where to look, and when to look, then look there even harder and closer than you would expect a normal person at close to midnight to be looking, then that's how I spot them!

Paul is right, once you get used to looking at anything that stands out, the more you see them.
