Young bullock Calf, river rescue sequence

I came across this scene yesterday, about fifteen Essex Fire & Rescue guys involved in the rescue of this inquisitive calf that fell in the river and couldnt get out. The calf had been in the water for some time

What a brilliant sequence here Denis…..nothing like being in the spot during a drama….

My granddaughter is a qualified Equine Vet now, only a few weeks ago she was filmed sedating a horse in a similar incident….. she also had to stay with the horse for some time afterwards until she was sure it was OK .

I wonder if the storm had anything to do with him falling in .. a great narrative  depicted in this set Colin  sorry I mean Denis !! doh . Looks like he wants his Mam at the end though  ...
