Nice set, looks like it's ringed an escapee?

I've no idea Rye - first appeared last spring, stayed around for a couple of months then disappeared until a couple of weeks ago. Seems to get on well with all the other more common ducks and although I'm shooting from the river bank over other side it is content to sit and pose. I was hoping he would go for a swim but he was reluctant to leave his 'friend' (the wooden post).

Fabulous capture on #1 despite the shadow Colin ...The second pic is amusing as it's head appears to look upside down and it's reflection looks the right way up !...  Great for a caption ...

I think he thinks he's hiding behind that Post Colin ....And presumes that you can't see him !  Seriously though ....they do hide a lot apparently  and they nest in trees .... so the youngsters have to take a leap of faith  to the ground once they have all hatched !!  A really nice set Colin ...
