For me, the Second and Third stand out, I love heritage lines, live in a village with one, the issue is the public, as in first image, someone not in dress really shows that its a new image

The sky has not helped in the images, and I for one struggle with B&W conversions, too sharp, not sharp enough, and contrast issues, 

But admire your time togging the great Steam Engines, I just love them

Thanks Steve, yes people are always a problem especially on the stations. Yes, the weather wasn't the best, in the first I had very low lying clouds and mist, by the time the others were taken I had mostly blue skies. It also doesn't help that the line runs mostly South-North.

2nd image  is  a really nice one for me Rye...  Contrasts  and detail really emphasise the power depicted  by these metal monsters .

I was going to say the same, 2 stands out and is a great image, I dont see any problems with the sky at all...
