Hi all...I've had a short break from taking photos...I think the whole covid lockdown thing finally killed a lot of my enthusiasm for getting out, but seeing autumn leaves on the ground made me grab my tripod!

This was yesterday at Kennall Vale in Cornwall.  Always a great spot at any time of year, but it really comes to life as the leaves start to fall.

There's a lovely balance to this composition...some dappled sunlight in the distance taking the  eye deep into the scene  and just the right amount of exposure in my view on that tumbling water so as not to make it surreal . The splash  of green  fern in the foreground adds both interest and contrast Matt .. A really well crafted reflection of Autumnal ambience . Lovely  work ....

Made it into the local paper, even if the print quality is shocking!

You would have thought that nowadays with digital print techniques that they could have done better than that!

They're lifted from their instagram page, so never gonna be great even with the best printing.  Still nice to be in print though.
