Went on another day trip to Ribblesdale...

Looks like you had two extremes of weather  that day ! An atmospheric  and moody  moorland scene  that first one is for sure ....

Nice shots of the area. There's a saying around Pendle: 'If you can see Pendle Hill, it's about to rain, if you can't see Pendle Hill it's raining."

Very true and for these type of images on moors you can't beat the gloomy mood!

Thnx.....yes DOF is great. I have gained with confidence using manual for focus with the Sony 20mm G lens and set the F-stop to F/11 focus is set 5m which as you can see gives front to infinity focus.
