Harvest time on the farm, an agricultural photo heavy set

No techical merit, just observational photos from a walk around the farm a day or so ago, rain due so the stops are out to get the Barley in.

 

The product, Barley still grown locally for the Malt industry .

Nice set, evoking the mood of late summer in the countryside. Particularly like no. 3 and no. 4. The vivid splash of red in both is the ideal contrast to the golden harvest colours.

It certainly  does paint the picture of a hot, dusty day harvesting in the English countryside  Denis ...  Capturing an atmosphereis a very satisfying aspect of photography ... I t is sometimes difficult to capture a story in words  but these images illustrate  a narrative we can all identify with .. I think you underestimate the technical   craft involved, modestly .... and I particularly like #5,#9and #10..

A lovely set that tells a tale of summer.  I particularly like 1,2, 3 and the final image because they add an artistic element to the set (IMHO).

Excellent set Denis, your thistle is actually a Teasel they were used in carding the nap in cloth.

define electric Paul... as in overdone? I did these in Topaz but may have gone a tad over on the sliders..

I wouldn't go as far as overdone - they seem to have what I would call an "Orton Effect" - except the yellows are a bit "gold" - but it doesn't make them bad, just "loud" (does that sound like the right critique?)
