Evening skies, views and sunsets..

Recommended Posts

We have had some spectacular colours recently, deep orange and red skies. Been out a few evenings hoping to catch sight of Barn owls without success. But its a pleasant place to stand and admire the scenery for an hour or two, and this is helping me to get back to taking photos even if they are a tad on the mundane side!

Last evening..after no sign of Owls for the past hour the Tokina 11-16mm came out of the bag.

Back to the 200-500mm for this..

And back to the Tokina..

A deepening hue in the sky..

And we waited for the sun to drop into the orange patch under the cloud on the horizon..

Wow ...what a lovely way to fall in love with your photography  again Denis ... Not in the least mundane and  a superb sequence  showcasing the  wonder of sunsets and how  no two are ever the same ..  The Sky in #1 is just Wonderful ....
