Anyone for Crocquet?

Recommended Posts

I feel that crocquet is one of those quintessentially English things that no-one has actually ever seen much less played. Here's my first ever sight of this high octane activity at Wells, Somerset. I feel a bit of a fraud sticking it in "Sport and Action" but where else? 553728521_IMG_1671(2).thumb.jpg.1d018c63c6ff6f1eef6feb9289e9e7d3.jpg

Come to think of it, nor have I.  Nice capture.  Probably a bit like a local cricket match.  Intense for the participants but nice to have going on in the background while you snooze away in a deck chair on a warm sunny afternoon.
