POTW - Week ending 13/06/2021

So it's my turn again for photo of the week, Paul has been posting some excellent macros, and there's been some great shots of animals and insects.

A couple of worthy mentions: Stravinskys Chester Zoo Set - I really liked the Elephant image...

There been a nice set of Landscapes, from Matt, Denis and John...

There was also a cracking shot by FUJI - Captivated and it was a tough choice between that shot and the eventual winner...

Congrats to Denis on his photograph of a Four Spot Chaser Dragonfly, which was nicely isolated from the background and forces your attention to the subject.

Much appreciated that this was picked, I had almost given up trying to get a photo of any Dragonfly on this particular day, just about to pack up and it settled on a  reedstem in a pond about 11 foot away !

That's usually the case with anything, I've often packed up for the day and got a shot I wasn't expecting.
