I can see the pub from up here.

This image was taken at castle acre, Norfolk. And the dog and it’s owner really were  on their way to the pub, the owner told me it was their nightly routine. Walk around the village and stop in for a pint ,his dog got really excited when it got close enough to see the pub lol

I could see the bloke was a local character and his dog got spoilt rotten in there, I bet he didn’t need much tea when they got home lol

Love the diagonal point of view and that great stark featureless sky ...  and what a fabulous narrative to go with it ...  a memorable image !

The overcast sky really worked for me that day.

I love that image- for all the reasons others have said. Great composition: square format with the diagonal landline and negative space in the sky. The dog looking in the right direction works too. As does the mono.
