POTW Week ending 31st January 2021

Sometimes it's really difficult to pick the POTW and 3 or 4 images  are in the mix but occasionally you know as soon as it's posted ... and that 's the case this week so without further ado here is my choice... and it could have been any one from this superb set of images of a Short eared  Owl taken be Roger .... 

Simply stunning ... hats off to you Roger !

It’s great to see your  wonderful bird images again Roger... and I remember when you decided to make Bird imaging your new main genre of photography when you stopped your astral photography  a few years ago . It seemed a very focussed  ambition  and your obvious determination to learn every aspect of how to realise that  has paid off .  If you ever get the chance to write  any helpful tips and tutorials for those of us here on the Forum, who love to take birdie pics , I’m sure you’d get an appreciative audience.... 😉
