Beepy ... from the images of the car  that you have posted, I  presume it's the passenger side that has sustained the damage...i suppose you'll have to wait awhile to get that repaired...  .  hope both you and the lad are ok though .

The lad hit the passenger side - front of the wheel arch first, then the back of it, then the front door and the roof then the back door. The front of the wheel arch is actually the entire front panel of the car as it wraps round and the roof panel forms part of the rear wing so its over half the panels on the entire car need replacing.

I had word back to say he's ok. Needed a CT scan and X-rays, has concussion so can't remember what happened and had a few stitches in his head. Hospital say he'll be fine but I'd guess it will take him a while before he's fit again. If you're wondering, yes, that is traces of skin on the roofline hence me wanting to give the car a wash.

Good grief! ... I presume he was on a bike of some sort ...  What a shock that must have been ... .... I suppose we always say after an event like this ... ah well ...cars can be repaired/ replaced   but  the trauma of flashbacks and the sheer inconvenience of spending hours sorting out insurance claims  paperwork etc  and getting repairs done  ( or not as the timing seems to indicate ) is  really inconvenient when you've just been minding your own business and have  done nothing wrong ... Despite obviously being relieved that the lad is not seriously hurt , it's hard not to be irritated  by the whole incident ... I know I was after my  car was pranged and written off  three  and a half years ago ... Gosh ...where did THAT time go?

I’ve been too busy with corona virus related madness to check TIPF for a couple of weeks. I’m so glad to see challenge. Well done. Some lovely images. I’m working from home on a week about roster and will definitely take some photos.
