It's just meant as a bit of fun to keep us all occupied during our isolation....

Day 1 of the lockdown: Horse Chestnut Tree growing in a pot in my yard

Bee Fly.... shot taken in my garden.

An overwintered Peacock butterfly, the shot was taken in my garden.

I saw one in the garden as well today John ... I was  quite surprised at how good it looked ...course the camera was indoors as I  was pruning some hydrangeas ..!.

I've yet to see any butterflies....

I've seen two Brimstones and a Comma as well but they didn't settle so no photos.

One fluttered past me today but was on its way somewhere.  I also saw the first Hoverfly.  Better start carrying a camera around the garden.

Day 2: Butterbur - (Petasites hybridus) later in the year it will grow it's distinctive very large heart shaped leaves that were used to wrap butter in the past.

Day 2: tree Blossom

I see you've caught a little bug on a blossom there Rye ... and it's the first time I've seen you  present your pic with a drop shadow ..Lovely bokeh too .

Yes, I only noticed the little bug once I'd got home and looked on a big screen. I have done other images with a drop shadow like this but probably haven't posted many before, I do take and process a lot of images that I don't always post.

 This chap was so noisy I couldn't fail to spot him today ... Hope he has somewhere warm to go to tonight as -4 degrees is forecast .....

A couple of friends saw how shi**y the start of my week was and decided to cheer me up, got in touch with Angela for our address and had a case of wine delivered. I am speechless at peoples generosity

Thirty seven files focus stacked to maximise depth of field - it whiled away an hour or so if nowt else

Three nice ones.  I like the medicinal gift. Dose: Take once (or twice) nightly with or without food.  I particularly like the originality of the last one as well.

That last image looks like a pair of lungs Beepy ! ... My favourite mutt looks suitably chilled too... What a lovely thought sending you the wine ....people can be very thoughtful and it does renew one's faith inhuman nature sometimes ... .. So much uncertainty in  folks lives at the moment... it 's good to feel you're not alone .

Day 3: A Bit of a Yellow Theme today

Another  bee today ...same Ribes  shrub  but this bee was half the size of the enormous fella that i caught yesterday....

The trees across from the house have always been a bit of a Sqirrel highway but one stopped for s snack today.

Beepy ... from the images of the car  that you have posted, I  presume it's the passenger side that has sustained the damage...i suppose you'll have to wait awhile to get that repaired...  .  hope both you and the lad are ok though .

 Some crisp pics John ... even though  the little blighters are a ruddy nuisance where I live ...
