after my post the other day saying the images with the 1.4x were sharp, yesterday I discovered it back focuses.  soooo lucky to have a kingfisher land 20 feet infront of me then to find they were out of focus!!  but, the branch 6" behind it was perfect....  you will have to trust me the single focus point was over his headkingfisher.jpg.7aa698139d2bb91864126e5ec8958612.jpg

yeh, my local ish place to see them is Pennington flash about 6 miles away..... need to sort the back focusing out though before I go back.
