This set has been posted for observations and comments....I just require feedback please.

Ref, the wooden soldier and horse, the background is snow=spattered double glazing.

I look forward to learning what you think.

I find the background to be a little "awkward" with the vertical line seperating the glazing and the woodwork. Orchid are always beautiful.  I would like to see more of the wooden figures which have some nice colour.

Thank you for your feedback Kev....valuable as always.

Whoops!

Shouldve mentioned that this set wasn't posted for composition, but were a test if another vintage film.....FED INDUSTAR 55-2.8 LEICA COPY from the 1990s ......I had literally just taken it out of its packaging from Lithuania .....it cost less than £15 delivered.

Apparently these vintage Leica-copy lenses have a dedicated following from both Leica owners and enthusiasts like myself....you do need to ensure you are using a trusted seller....

I have tested on the street in town today, but nothing very exciting because it is bitingly cold. Hi

I'm not sure #1 proves anything? #2 and #3 are identical shots but differently processed? I think I prefer the greater saturation of 2. The mono conversion would tell us nothing about the lens of course, but the colours in the wooden toys shot look good and strong and (presumably?) natural. Sharpness also looks very satisfactory.
