I'm afraid I cannot compete with that macro  work Rye ....I'd have to get some new glass for my Sony Alpha   to get that sort of detail .... not sure  it's what I enjoy most though I do appreciate seeing what you Macro Nuts do! ++

Super feather detail on your sparrowhawk Beepy.... Did you extract him from his original background or change  some of it  by any chance ... It seems there is some dark fringing around his head against that white sky above the straw bales ... Just an observation and of course I 'm probably   wrong ....

Today  saw the first bloom on my Blue Moon rose ... It is an unusual  colour for a rose ....In the background you can just make out a Purple splendour Rhododendron...

Just  so you can see it really is a rhododendron ... taken the day before ...

Sorry ...  I know it isn't Two a day every day ...

I must  be  about due for the naughty step again anyway !

It was the niece's 50th yesterday so a few family drinks were called for.

I - I - I don't understand. W-where's the pumps, the cars, the green and yellow? I've woken up and it's a different universe. Oh Toto, where's Kansas gone?
