Some years ago (2008 I think) whilst on holiday 'up North', the missus and I went to Robin Hood's Bay for an afternoon (excellent fish-&-chip shop there, very near the RNLI station).  On the way back to the car, I snapped the following 2 pics on a 'Olympus Camedia Summatorother' P&S camera.  It was a warm sunny afternoon with little cloud, the 1st shot is OK and the 2nd shot was taken 2-3 steps to the left, with no-one else nearby smoking or otherwise.....

Any ideas on the blue wraith-like streaks in the 2nd pic anyone?  The best reason I've heard to date is that water-sprites really do exist..... grin.gif

Looking at the EXIF the flash fired on the second shot and has lit something up closer to (hence out of focus) the camera.

That's possible, but I don't remember seeing anything that close in front, but then it was nearly 10 years ago.....  I can see how the flash reflecting off the leaves could leave that blueish caste though, it makes sense hmm.gif

It's a relief to know my photo isn't haunted, after all Whew.gif
