  1. Lovely, well done. Regards, Stan Photography.
  2. Hi Dave, Welcome to tip forum. Good to you have you here.
  3. Well done, Martyn. Great colours mixes.
  4. Hi ChrisLumix, That's a very good point and very good idea. Actually, if I recall how i discovered my passion for photography few years back, it started at one of my relatives' wedding. There's a short description of that on my blog at http://www.bystan.co.uk/photography/ I would take your advice and propose this in the portraits photography if any experienced photographer would be interested in having me as a second shooter (for the beginning I prefer to be running in 'fly on the wall' mode and capture more of PJ photos and not interfere at all with normal shooting process of the experienced photographer). That's a brilliant idea and want to thank you for that. Will add a post describing that and see what turns out into. Btw, I've added few more photos on the swan thread. Would be great to know what you think of these as well, if you have any time. Cheers, Regards, Stan Photography.
  5. and now a closer one (I know focus should always be on the eyes, but wanted to try something different - focus on the lens is about Photography as an art - I'm not the subject, I'm still the photographer) Regards, Stan Photography.
  6. alright, my first selfie - let's see what you guys think of it. I know 2013 the most queried/used word was selfie - though I may look I'm behind with the trend, I usually don't like to immediately jump on doing something just because most of the people do it, but rather do something from personal conviction of it's the right thing to do. regards, Stan Photography.
  7. Alright, what do I shot? I've tried shooting night photography, wildlife, Landscape, but want to focus on Portraits and Wedding Photography. So, I've decided to break down to these two topis - Portraits and Wedding Photography and rest. I've tried to edit some of the contact forms to include this but they refer to outdated social media platforms like icq aim etc, so I decided to paste in here. I hope that's alright. Please feel free to like or comment on any photos with constructive feedback or connect with me. Thanks to numpty for pointing where the signature settings was - seeing it now, works fine. Look forward to see likes and connecting requests on the social media portals from you all. Thank you all. Kind regards, Stan Photography.
  8. Hi all, Yes, today I reached the 30 posts threshold. I've updated my photo and about page but the contact contains old likes sections as icq, etc. I've used the about page, but don't see how to configure your signature - when you add a comment or a post, there would be a line and then a signature. How to configure that? Is it ok if post my my personal links here, or what is the best method to introduce myself properly, so that you guys can view some of my work? Thank you. Kind regards, Stan Photography.
  9. Thank you ChrisLumix for the sample and the others for their responses. I guess I need to upgrade my camera which does Not have this option. Will see what I can do between the already taken photos. hopefully, should hear from me what/which model I have (which is on sale at the moment) and which one will upgrade to (when the right time comes).
  10. Thank you all again for the welcoming notes. This is appreciated. Since, I've received few requests/encouragements to start uploading some photos, I'm looking on how to do that conforming with forum administrator's per-requisits and hope to be able to do that soon.
  11. Hi All, I'm looking for/in search of same best fit HDR software. Since I'm using Canon now, DPP does allow you to select multiple photos taken at different exposures but I'm not quite satisfied with the end results when you took the shots handholding and the allighment option does Not do the job fine even if all photos are 99% same. I installed Luminance HDR, the best free HDR softwarey they say, but is too complex. Do not want so many options so that I won't spend that much time on doing that. All I need is - input selections photos - output file with few options - like strength of or percentage/proportion of which photo to be merged into the final photo - once confirmed click go and you have the final photo. Don't have any adobe products yet since I cannot afford it - I'm getting prepared for highly proffesional wedding and portraits photography, but at this point there's no budget to finance the business, so is on hold indefinitely. Looking forward to hear what you guys have used when you have the input file in RAW format. Thank you. Regards, Stan Photography.
  12. hi, I use PhotoScape for quick and more images watering and resizing. However, make sure your GAV or Layer 7 AV is uptodate and you scan the installer file before you run/execute it, since many are using alterated installers to get in backdoors to your OS. Regards, Stan Photography.
  13. Hi All, To be honest, after seeing the response which is welcoming, just want to say thank you for that. Definitely this forum is the right place to be. Thank you ChrisLumix as well. Once, I get to the right thread/theme>topic will add the reason why I ask about this and I'm sure photographers such nice as you are, will help me out with best way to take. Cheers, btw, I'm from Surrey county for the Uk community and nice to hear/meet the Australian ones too. Regards, Stan Photography.
  14. Hi all, Happy New Year to all. I'm new to this forum and is my first photography forum I signed up though I started photography 2 years ago. It's great to see such a large community of photographers in Uk. Since I'm new and now getting to know the threads and forum rules, while I don't want to offend anyone, I'm asking here, how/where should I post a announcement of selling my gear - I have APS-C sensor camera and want to upgrade to a FF, hence reason for selling and thought that there might be someone interested in it. However, though I'm in the special offers, I want to know where should I go to post the details on the gear I have and is at sale. Also, would like to know where can I ask some of you experienced photographers about which HDR software you use and which one you recommend - what's the best place for that? Thank you in advanced. Kind regards, Stan Photography.

      Hi Phil,

I've now reached the 30 posts threshold.

Is it ok to add my page in my signature - if is ok, how do I do that?

Don't seem to see that - will check to try editing the profile.

      Thank you.

      Kind regards, Stan Photography.
